Green space design with the utmost respect for the environment

Once the project area has been surveyed and all the necessary information gathered, the landscape architecture practice Green Design® moves on to designing the green space, always paying the utmost attention to the environment in which it will sit.

The stages of landscape design

Landscape design by Green Design® follows four stages:

- Feasibility study
- Preliminary design
- Final design
- Detailed design

After the feasibility study, the landscape architects at Studio Green Design® draw up one or more landscape regeneration proposals, offering a range of options and solutions to meet the client’s needs. The aim of this stage is a landscape design that meets the client’s aesthetic and functional expectations and gives an overall picture of the finished work through a site plan accompanied by renders and photorealistic visualisations that show what the final result will look like.

Once the landscape design has been chosen, the team at the landscape architecture practice Green Design® goes on to select the materials for paving and furniture, as well as the tree species to be planted, respecting the existing environment. The documents needed to obtain the relevant permits from the competent public authorities – such as landscape authorisations and DIA/SCIA building notices – are then prepared.

The third stage of the landscape project is the detailed design of the works: the landscape practice defines any demolition or changes to existing structures, produces fully dimensioned construction drawings for any structures and paving, and draws up a detailed planting plan showing the position, number and species of new trees, shrubs and ground-cover plants, as well as the areas to be laid to lawn.

Once these final design documents are ready, the client has everything needed to request quotes directly from the contractors who will carry out the work, chosen by the client.
