Garden with natural swimming pond

The project is an environmental improvement scheme to regenerate a defined part of a garden. The aim was to turn what was a lawn without trees or shrubs into a park-like garden. First of all the ground was reshaped to give it a softer, more natural form. After gently adjusting the contours of the embankments, new tree and shrub species were introduced, mostly native and in harmony with the surrounding landscape. The defining feature of this garden is the new natural swimming pond, whose clear water contrasts with the typical lakeside planting. This ornamental pond has its own natural ecosystem, allowing it to blend perfectly with the surrounding landscape.
