Modern garden with swimming pool

In designing this garden we worked with an existing building of strong architectural character, which had to be understood and enhanced while respecting its features, without pushing the surroundings into the background. In a sense, garden and building had to complement and enhance each other. For the garden and the spaces of this home the design was simplified, using simple but incisive lines, and the emphasis was placed on the quality of the spaces (such as the basement swimming pool) rather than on the lavishness of the elements that make up the interiors and adorn the outdoor spaces.
