Estate in the Val d’Orcia
This project accompanies the construction of a multi-purpose building for olive oil and wine production; the new building led to improvements that also involved the farmland and the environment. The environmental restoration was carried out over several years, continuously and with great care, and the end result is varied and full of interest, yet unified as a whole. The aim was to restore the areas affected by the construction of the new farm and give them a function related to it: the works included soil bioengineering, the recovery of existing landscape features and the creation of new elements linked to the farm’s produce, all in complete harmony with the original setting of the new project.
