Villa with vineyard and lake view

The works covered the regeneration of the entire green area around the villa. They included particularly significant interventions such as reinforced earth structures, following the natural contours of the hill as closely as possible but rebuilding terraces covered with trailing species such as Cotoneaster and shrubs such as Crataegus oxyacantha, which both re-green the slope and stabilise it with their roots. The landscape restoration focused mainly on soil bioengineering on the steepest, most inaccessible slopes and on traditional gardening work in the areas closest to the house. The final stage of the project involved planting a large number of shrubs and trees such as Cupressus sempervirens, Olea europea, Laurus nobilis, Olea fragans, Hypericum calicinum, Rosmarinum officinalis and others, to stabilise and screen. Finally, in restoring the green areas of the whole property, the project included:

- planting olive trees to restore the rows on the terraces;
- a small vineyard for family use, interplanted with the existing olive trees, on the upper slopes towards the west side;
- planting native trees and shrubs to re-establish a wide wooded margin in the small valley to the south along the stream, restoring an important ecological corridor between the existing woodland to the west and the tree belts along the watercourse.

A footpath was also created, starting at the entrance to the property and running close to its boundaries, giving access to every part of the property.
