New cycle and pedestrian path

The area involved has the typical features of the Brianza: hilly and very green. The new stretch of cycle and pedestrian path runs through farmland, crossing open spaces and cultivated fields, partly along an existing route and partly on a new one built by the project (the stretch beside the small hill near the S. Zenone spring). As well as serving as a cycle and pedestrian route, the path is occasionally used by funeral processions heading to the cemetery, so a fixed width of 3 m was kept, plus 30 cm precast concrete trapezoidal kerbs on each side. Given its mixed use by cyclists and by agricultural and other vehicles, the whole stretch is paved in coloured asphalt.
